Park Wilhelmshöhe, Kassel, Hessia, Germany: Hercules on top of the Giant Castle and the Great Cascades
Hercules – a giant statue, 11.3 m (37 ft) tall – stands on top of the castle of Geryon, the Giant, who he has just defeated. Geryon spits a fountain of water towards Hercules but never reaches him. Instead, the water falls down the cascades, 320 m (1000 ft) long and 105 m (345 ft) high.
